Why choose forged wheels for a passenger car?+

Forging can deliver a stronger and lighter wheel than conventional casting when engineering, material and process controls are correctly specified.

Can forged wheels be customized?+

Yes. Diameter, width, offset, PCD, center bore, brake clearance, face design and finish can all be engineered for a defined vehicle application.

Is flow forming the same as forging?+

No. Flow forming mechanically forms the barrel of a cast preform; a fully forged wheel begins with forged stock or a forged blank.

What is the main benefit?+

The process enables a thinner, lighter barrel than conventional casting while maintaining scalable production economics.

Which casting method is best?+

The correct process depends on volume, design, weight target and quality requirements. Low-pressure casting is common for controlled passenger-wheel production.
